The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great option if you're looking to buy a mid-range robot vacuum and mop. It provides a fantastic mopping experience, but it lacks the advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.

In the course of testing, it was able to tackle dry oats and dust on carpets of medium pile and pet hair on hard floors. However, unlike other models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to determine the layout of your home.

Roomba s9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It offers impressive cleaning power and plenty of features that include an automatic dirt bin built into its charging base. The robot also learns your habits of cleaning and suggest automated schedules for a truly hands-free experience.

The setup process is simple thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once everything is connected, you can start the automated cleaning functions with the push of a button. You can select a general clean that prioritizes cleaning up larger debris like rice and cereal or two thorough maps of your space to ensure your entire home is properly arranged.

This robot mop vacuum combo vac performs well on both bare floors and low-pile carpet. It is able to take large objects and does not lose suction as fast as some other models, and it can even clean up pet hair without much difficulty. It's not able to work with carpets that are high-pile or plush, but iRobot claims that future models will be more efficient.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that concentrates on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which it hopes will allow it to be able to swaddle walls and Robot mop vacuum Combo furniture. It's a great improvement over the standard hockey puck shape of most robovacs, though we found it to be marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ comes with an advanced filter system that prevents microscopic dust particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. It's a nice claim, however, we're not convinced that it's enough to justify the price tag.

Its smart navigation system uses a combination of sensors to keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology to map your interior. This allows it to avoid obstacles, like staircases and other barriers, and to tidy up your whole home efficiently possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundaries so that the robot knows which areas need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a machine that combines vacuuming and mopping. Its vacuum settings are as good as those on higher-end models. And its mopping system is better because its spinning pads scrub your floors much more efficiently than the vibrating pads.

The only issue is the absence of a second brush to allow for deeper cleaning. But that's not a major issue when you're looking to purchase one of the top robots on the market. The dust tank on the robovac is bigger than most of its competitors. Filling it up takes only two or three cycles, even when you've got a lot of dirt.

For the mopping device, I was impressed by its ability to scrub hard-to-clean dirt from my floors. The two mopping modes that it has that are less abrasive than the higher-powered ones create little noise, allowing you to work or even watch TV without distraction. It will gently bump into furniture or walls, and move on if it comes across one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it operates almost completely on its own, with no user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac can be multi-functional and can automatically transfer garbage into a bin hidden. It also washes, dries and refills the clean water tank. The app is adept at notifying you when something is in need of attention, for example, the water tank being empty or a scheduled vacuuming session having been canceled because of a full dust bin.

You can also combine or create actual rooms to alter the way Q Revo handles your home. That's a handy feature for those who have multiple areas of the home with different flooring materials or if there's items that need to be removed frequently, like toys, clothes, and books. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was among the top performers during my tests, picking up debris from both carpets and hardwoods in its first run. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I suggest drying them with a towel before sending it into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop and more. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top-quality vacuum with a powerful suction to clean carpet and hard floors, and the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough staining. It also comes with an auto-cleaning station that automatically cleans and empty the mop pads, keeping them clean and ready for reuse. It also comes with a brand new sensor system that can better detects obstacles, granting it the ability to avoid falling over furniture or other objects.

The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that it is sleeker and more modern design due to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). While still quite massive--it's nearly two feet high and deep and weighs in excess of four pounds--the robot itself and its base are less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This model is more efficient than the X1 as it charges faster and can clean 1,500 square feet in a single charge. And it has a larger dustbin that is more durable and can hold more debris which makes it easier to empty it when needed.

Lastly, the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app as well as voice assistant that operates offline, which means you can manage it even when not home. It also has an intelligent routing feature that lets it clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead of following a predetermined path.

The X2 Omni is the top mopping robot. Its mop pads rotating remove tough stains and its motor creates a lot of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding, and it also increases suction when it detects carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It is equipped with a large rechargeable battery that can last up to a week. The mopping feature of the robot is also extremely effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a top-quality mop and robot vacuum that comes with a host of convenience features that you aren't likely to find on robots at this price. It has the ability to create detailed floor maps, identify various flooring types and is one of the few that can automatically wash and dry its mop pads. These features are great however they can push the L10s into the luxury category. This could make it more expensive than what homeowners want.

It is designed to look like a contemporary floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim machine with an elegant white finish highlighted by mirror-plated silver elements. The front of the machine has an impressive bumper that protects the furniture and vacuum cleaner while moving around your home. Sensors are hidden behind the front pane, which helps the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, you'll find one button that acts as an on/off switch. Clicking this will turn on the vacuum, while clicking it again will shut off the vacuum and return it to its base station. The circular menu located in the middle of the control panel lets you to choose cleaning modes, schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons beneath the screen will bring up the settings menu of the app where you can modify the way that the L10s Ultra works with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of LIDAR and cameras-based navigation technology to map your home. This allows the robot to pure clean robot vacuum and mop efficiently, without getting stuck. The LIDAR assists the robot vacuum to avoid obstacles and identify them as obstacles, which is an excellent feature for households with pets or young children.

The L10s Ultra is an efficient vacuum cleaner, which removes 98.4 percent of debris from our test on hardwood floors and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice stains. The mops are also efficient, clearing 98.4% of debris on our wood, tile and carpet tests. However, it wasn't as efficient in dealing with sand on the floor or the quaker oats that are on carpet.
