Slot missions are a great way to earn gear, weapons and much more. But they're also hard to complete.

Concealed Weapon Slot

The concealed weapon slot is a specific slot that allows you to bring guns into a mission. Some players use this to aid in achieving certain goals, especially those going for Suit Only. Some prefer having the additional pistol to make an additional gap. It is important to remember that in order to select the pistols in this slot, click on the button to select the appropriate category, like machine guns in the alternate slot. The presence of Major Expedition and Adept Rider on makes it easier to do. This combo also adds a damage tick from Concealed Weapon every 10 seconds for as long as you have it in the slot.

Slot for items that are smuggled

The smuggled item slot is a great feature that lets players bring weapons and tools into the game, but it could be improved. It's currently shaped like pistols, that makes it difficult to differentiate the smuggled item slot from other slots in the gear.

As players progress through challenges and unlock new Mission Mastery levels, these options for planning increase. This lets players prepare the ideal mission for each challenge.

Gear Slot

Early on in the game players will notice their gear slots get full, resulting in the frequently-repeated "Your Gear Slots are full" message that prevents Max from acquiring new equipment until the old ones are removed or space is found. Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials are the solution to this problem. They give players more inventory space to complete challenging missions. However, since many of these challenges are scattered throughout the globe and are easily overlooked, it may take an extended time to obtain the most inventory slots that are available in the game.

Each player has up to five different kinds of gear in their five Gear Slots. They must be selected from the Gear Selection menu prior to the break-in. Each individual gear item (except the Pistol) takes up one Gear Slot while a set of similar items (like Grenades of the same kind) only takes up one Gear Slot.

Agency Pickups

As you advance through the Mission Mastery levels you unlock various agency pickups on the map. These locations allow you to store an item that does not fit in your concealed slot for weapons or gear and retrieve them later.

These pickups are especially useful if you have to pass through a frisk later in the mission, or if you are carrying a weapon that could otherwise trigger suspicion. You can only keep one item at a time at a pickup location for agencies.

This DLC adds new contracts to asset protection and security to the agency. To begin these missions simply contact the receptionist of the agency and purchase armor and snacks. Then, go to the mission marker and spot a group when you arrive.
