In my tests it was able to clean the X2 Omni washed its pad in just over a second and then got to work. I noticed that it was more precise than other models which seemed to follow the grid of rooms. It was adept at navigating my rooms with its corners and edges and also create an "Zambani pattern" across the middle of the room. It also returned to its OMNI station on a regular basis to empty the dustbin and clean the mop with hot water prior to beginning another cleaning job.

This budget-friendly robot from a popular new brand is the cheapest we've tested and provides incredible value for money. Its basic navigation system uses a super-basic random pathing algorithm and lacks room mapping capabilities, which makes it less efficient than the other models on this list. However, it's still able to reach under furniture and in corners and its mopping mode was very effective during our tests and was able to pick up pet hair and other debris with ease.
