The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a good option for those looking for a mid-range robot vacuum and mop. It provides a fantastic mopping experience, but doesn't have the advanced features of its more expensive sibling.

In tests it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats out of carpets with a medium-pile. It doesn't use LIDAR however, as other models do, to locate your home.

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the best-rated robots. It is a powerful cleaner and numerous features, including the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. This robot can also learn your cleaning habits and suggest automated schedules to ensure you have a hands-free experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automated cleaning functions with the click of one button. You can select the general clean option, which prioritizes the removal of larger pieces of debris like rice and cereal. You can also select two detailed mappings to ensure that your entire home is cleaned thoroughly.

This robot vacuum is effective on both floors that are bare and carpets with low pile. It sucks up large items and does not lose suction as fast as some other models, and it can even remove pet hair without much difficulty. It has a difficult time with plush or high-pile carpet, but iRobot promises it will improve with the next models.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that is focused on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba that adopts an open-fronted, flat-fronted design. The company hopes that this will allow it to be able to hug furniture and walls. It's a great improvement over the hockey puck-like design of most robovacs, though we found it to be marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also has superior filtration, which prevents micro-sized particles and allergens from circulating in your home. We think this is a nice claim however, it's not enough to justify a premium price.

Its smart navigation system employs a combination of sensors to remember your home's layout and vSLAM technology to map your interior. It can then clean your entire home efficiently by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and schedule cleaning times, as well as set up virtual boundary markers, so it is aware of areas that require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it comes to robots that combine mopping and vacuuming and mopping, the Roborock Q revo is a standout. Its vacuum settings are as good as those on more expensive models. Its mopping system is better because its spinning pads scrub your floors much more effectively than an ordinary pad that vibrates.

For the mopping device, I was amazed with its ability to scrub off hard-to-clean dirt from my floors. The two lowest mopping settings which are less powerful than the high-powered modes, produce very little noise, so you can work or watch TV without being distracted. It will gently bump into a wall or furniture and then move away whenever it comes across one.

What makes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to operate almost autonomously with very little need for user intervention. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that can automatically transfer physical garbage into the bin hidden from view and also washes and drys the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app will only notify you if something is wrong like low water levels or a canceled vacuuming session due to a full bin.

You can also create or combine rooms to alter the way Q Revo manages your home. This feature is useful for those who have different flooring in different areas of your home or if you need to regularly remove clutter, such as toys, clothes and books. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, taking debris from both carpets and hardwoods on the first pass. It is able to even clean up spills that are wet but I would suggest cleaning them off with a damp cloth prior to sending the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo that has all the features you can wish for. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top-quality vacuum that has a powerful suction that cleans hard and carpet floors, Cleaning robot mop and vacuum as well as an omni-rotating mop that scrubs tough stains. It also has a self-cleaning base station that automatically empties and washes the mop pads, ensuring that they remain them free of germs and ready to use again. It also comes with a brand new sensor system that can better detects obstacles, granting it the ability to avoid falling over furniture and other objects.

The most notable improvement to the ECOVACS The X1 Deebot is the modern, sleeker design. This is due to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot is still quite large. It is more than two feet in both height and depth, and weighs nearly four pounds. However the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot j7.

The X2 Omni is the top robot for mopping. Its rotating mop pads remove tough stains and its motor generates lots of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is top-notch, and it boosts suction when it detects a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It comes with a huge, rechargeable battery that lasts up to seven days. The mopping feature of the robot is also extremely effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a high-end mop and vacuum robot that comes with a variety of convenience features you don't often see on robots at this price range. It has the ability to create detailed floor maps, detect various flooring types and is one of the few robots that automatically wash and dry its mop vacuum robot pads. These features are great however they can push the L10s into the luxury category. This could mean it's more expensive than what homeowners want.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It's tall and slim, with a white finish accented with silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine has an impressive bumper that protects the furniture and vacuum cleaner while moving around your home. Sensors are concealed behind the front pane, which helps the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum, there is a single button which acts as an on/off switch. By pressing this button, you can activate the vacuum, and pressing it again will turn off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The circular menu located in the center of the control panel lets you to choose cleaning modes as well as schedules and [Redirect Only] preferences. The left and right buttons will open the settings of the app which allow you to customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

The L10s Ultra is an efficient vacuum cleaner that removes 98.4 percent of debris from our test on hardwood floors and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice staining. The mops are also efficient, taking away 98.4 percent of debris from our wood, tile and carpet tests. However, it wasn't quite as efficient in dealing with sand on the floor, or quaker oats on the carpet.
