World of Warcraft - item upgrading (simply click the next document)

Item upgrading allows players to boost an item's gear score up to 700 and add an additional perk. Items can be upgraded if they are in your inventory and you take them to the Kiln.

Certain items can be upp'd to benefit from their unique stats (like an ideally made breakpoint armour that can be rolled to use in melee PvP) and others, like weapons, do not change significantly after an upgrade items and thus aren't worth upgrading.

Weapons

Weapons can be upgraded to improve their numeric stats such as damage to attack, crit chance as well as PvE and damage from PvP. Weapons come with a flat-rate bonus that increases damage per second. Some weapons also have an unaffected bonus that is activated when three or more identical weapons are used in a unit. This bonus could be more than the damage that a weapon upgrade alone can do.

The cost of upgrading a weapon varies on its rarity as well as its current level. For instance, a +2 weapon will require two regular Smithing Stones to upgrade while the +3 model requires four. The number of stones needed to upgrade the gun will increase until it requires a higher level of Smithing Stones. At that point, it will reset back to one.

Armor has a rerolling option for its Enhanced Defense%. This means that it can sometimes roll down to a lower value.

The upgrade template of a weapon will display the new stats that it will gain upon upgrading, as well as the relative value of those stats. This means that a change from an 8 attack-damage sword to an 11-attack-damage sword will result in the weapon gaining an attack damage of 3. The 3% does not mean that the weapon will strike three times less, since it is an absolute number.

Rerolling a weapon is possible by pressing the green button within the item level upgrade menu using the arrows that are circling. This will reroll the item upgrader kit and change its stats, however, it will not reset the weapon's level or bind to account status.

Armor

Adding a few upgrades to your armor could make a huge differences in your ability to survive. In general, the more defense you have for your character, the greater health you can receive from each point. Therefore, it's a good idea to upgrade your armor.

To improve your armor, head to any of the Great Fairy Fountains in the game. There are four Great Fairy Fountains in the game and to unlock each fountain, you have to complete a side quest that involves the Stable Trotters. After you've completed your main quest and the associated fountains, you'll be able to talk to any Great Fairy in order to unlock the armor upgrade menu.

Each piece of armor can be upgraded up to three levels, and the amount of materials and Rupees needed for each level will differ. In general, you'll need at anything from three to ten Red Chuchu Jellies and 10 Rupees for the initial upgrade, then anywhere between five Rubies and 10 Fire-Breath Lizalfos Horns for each subsequent one. For instance the Champion Leathers could be upgraded to +5 defense, which allows you to keep pace with a decent-sized group of enemies in most cold conditions and the Snowquill Headdress can be upgraded all the way to +20 defense, providing you enough protection to withstand a full on raid with a few friends.

Be aware that armor can't be upgraded in the same manner as weapons, so you'll need to concentrate on enhancing it to increase physical strength if you're a Warrior or Spell Power in the case of Mage. It's also a good idea to save your armor upgrades to use for armor you'll still be wearing at the end of the game, like the Ring of Lightning and Spectral Shield or the helmet you wear for the final boss fight as well as the Monter Parts merchant's mask.

By giving the jeweler 10 Twinkling Titanite in Gerudo Town in Gerudo Town, you can unlock some perks on your armor. You'll typically want to keep these upgrades to the weapon that you'll use to beat the game. For example the Longsword or Battleaxe. Potions

To upgrade a potion, click right on it in your inventory and choose the "Upgrade" option from the menu. Splash potions, for example are now available with a time of 0:08 instead of the 22.5 seconds that are displayed on the hover display of the item. The potion table can now be crafted with four Wood Planks and two Glass. This allows it to be used by players in Survival and Bedrock. Bedrock Edition potions are not compatible with cauldrons, as is the case with Java Edition. Also, putting a potion on a full cauldron drains the contents and refills the bottle.

In addition, there are simmering potions made using dragon breath and splash potions. Redstone can also be added to potions that are lingering to increase their effects. The potion table has been rearranged to look more like the Java Edition. New potions are also added, like the potion of leaping as well as decomposition.

Trinkets

A trinket is an ornamental item that is small, cheap or piece of jewelry. It could also refer to an object or ornament that serves a purpose, but isn't particularly significant such as a trinket. In certain cultures, trinkets are used to signify affection or friendship, particularly between family members.

Once the old Trinkets have become not usable they can be upgraded. This allows players to increase both their power and value with time. They can be traded between players which makes them a good alternative to gold.

Players should upgrade their most important items first. This means that the most-important slot items for each class are upgraded first then their secondary gear, and then other pieces of equipment they will not replace anytime soon (such as a ring or an cloak). Players should also take into consideration their class's preferred stats when selecting which items to upgrade. For instance when Haste and Crit are the two most important stats for a tank, they should be focusing on upgrading their helm, chest, shoulders, and belt.

Once they have become useless, trinkets can be upgraded to a higher level. The new trinket has an additional 1percent bonus. A re-upgrade, however, will destroy the trinket unless it can be salvaged with the Black Lion Salvage Kit, or a salvage tool. This makes upgrading trinkets more expensive than other upgrades, however it is still cheaper than purchasing an entirely new trinket.
