WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades give you an increase in specific statistics. Each upgrade increases the level of an item by 3. Each upgrade also increases a random substat.

The upgraded gear typically has a higher trade value regardless of whether it has low requirements (like the FB sorc's shield) or very high stat variance (like Eth titan weapons). Upgrades are less useful for those with lower requirements due to the need to roll a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade gear to a higher level by supplying the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be made on any kind of armor or weapons. The item used to upgrade the item will be consumed and cannot be used again. Upgrades can be applied to the enchantments.

The upgrader can be found in all major cities, and is accessible anytime to upgrade your gear. It is recommended to visit the upgrader once every couple of weeks to keep your equipment up to date.

For instance, once a piece of equipment reaches the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer, Adventurer, Veteran, Champion, Hero, or Mythic), it won't need Flightstones to be upgraded. This change allows players to upgrade their equipment to the highest level possible for all their characters instead of relying on seasonal loot.

Another significant modification is that crests have one use therefore it's essential to use them properly.
