WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades can give you boost in specific statistics. Each upgrade boosts the level of an item by 3. Each upgrade also increases an unspecified substat.

Upgraded gear generally sees greater value for trade as long as it meets low requirements (like the FB shield of the sorc) or a very high stat variation (like the eth titan weapons). These types of gear get less value from upgrading due to the necessity to roll for a perfect model.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear by offering the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any type of armor or weapon. The item used to upgrade the item upgrader mod will be consumed and cannot be used again. Upgrades can be applied to Enchantments.

The upgrader can be found in all major cities, and can be visited anytime to upgrade your gear. It is recommended that you visit the upgrader once every few weeks, to keep your equipment up to date.

The cost of upgrades will vary based on the current item level of the equipment being upgraded, but will always be cheaper than buying new equipment from other sources. For example upgrading a chest piece from Benthic to 385 ilvl will cost 20 recycle points while purchasing the same item from another player will cost 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are functional items which can be used to improve the quality of weapons tools, armor, and other items. Players can purchase them through NPCs who sell upgrades to Item Level Upgrade owners for a variety of currencies. They can also find them on random treasure lists. Once an upgrade has been purchased it can be applied to any weapon, tool, or armor with a button, which will show an item's preview when it is upgraded in the event that the player has enough materials.

The upgrade cost depends on the slot of the item and current item level and the weapon's price is higher than bracers or gloves, for example. Each step costs 15 Flightstones and a number of crests, with certain upgrades having a discount to lower the cost of the Flightstones or crests that are used. Once an item is upgraded to a certain amount it can be re-downgraded and sold to the upgrader at a lower cost.

Upgraders for items are available in a variety of locations including the main island, as well as a few outposts. The NPCs provide both an upgrade coupon and a possibility of getting an entirely new recipe. Crests

Players have a number of options when it comes to upgrading their gear in WoW. Flightstones are an option that is accessible to everyone for upgrading. Crests are more specialized and are used for specific item level upgrades. Crests are an integral element of the Dragonflight Gear Progression System introduced in version 10.1. They are available in four ranks.

The new currency system isn't difficult to use, however it brings some changes to the process of upgrading. For instance, when an item upgrader mod reaches the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer, Adventurer, Veteran, Champion, Hero, or Mythic), it will no longer require Flightstones to be upgraded. This allows players to upgrade their equipment to the highest level possible on all of their characters, instead of relying on seasonal loot.

It's also essential to use crests wisely, as they are only used for one purpose.
