Yesterday, as i was accelerating off the highway paytoll at a high speed I noticed a significant drop in power. It was like the engine had run out of gas. Or, my injectors were not firing. Today, i pulled out the spark plugs, three were drenched with gazoline the fourth was dry. When I crank the engine, there are no sparks, i place a tissue on the top of each hole in the injector and the 3 that were drenched in gazoline pop out, but the 4th one stays closed. I tried to test the ground connections of ECU pins 14,30 and 48/55. I found 0ohm. I assume that the problem is elsewhere.
I also tried to reset PID but without success. The car can start if the G28 is not plugged in and runs fine when it is plugged in, but still has intermittent misfire issues at higher RPM. The temperature sensor for coolant (G62) shows the wrong temp value -49c, even if I unplug it. I also noticed that the oil gauge in the cockpit shows 2 bars while the actual pressure is 0.
I'm not sure what to do. I believe that I've all other possibilities out. But i'm worried that I may have missed something. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know! TIA!
