Diablo 4 Item Upgrades

Item upgrades are upgrade components that can be put into weapons, armor and trinkets to provide a bonus. They usually have more cost and require that the item be at an appropriate level.

A custom glyph set may contain the maximum number of glyphs, 31 comprising the base name as well as its suffix. The base name must contain uppercase English alphabetic letters (A-Z), lowcase English alphabetic letters (a-z), European numbers (0-9), underscore (_) and other glyphs. The glyphs that make up the suffix may include ligatures or contextual alternatives that are special variations that combine two or more characters into a single visually unified symbol.

Reroll Tokens

Upgrades are the principal mechanics that offer an additional benefit to items, like stats. They come in types: rerolls, level up and recycle. Each type comes with a distinct set extra bonuses for an item upgrader kit.

Reroll Tokens can be used to change the item's base stats and upgrade number. They can also be used to reroll substats for rings. This can be beneficial if an item's fully upgraded (or "potential") power is lower than the player would like, or if the item's current substats are not ideal.

Rerolling an item is costing 1 token and will reset the upgrades, but keep the rarity, set, and level intact. As an item is leveled up, its tier will increase. The main stat of the item upgrader will be increased by 3 points for each level. Any additional stat that is randomly added will be increased along with it. The level of an item is increased by 1 when you raise an item to its highest possible level.

The Blueprint Desk allows players to buy new Appliances, Ingredients and Decorations for their restaurant. Blueprints are available at the beginning of each Preparation Phase. They appear as envelopes which can be opened by pressing Grab. Each blueprint comes with its own icon, and every category of upgradeable item displays a different icon:

Choosing a franchise card from the Blueprint Desk will allow you to purchase certain appliances or ingredients needed in certain recipes. Some Appliances and Inputs are staples, meaning they won't be sold in the Shop or on rerolls, while others will have a greater likelihood of appearing if the franchise card of a particular brand is selected at the Blueprint Desk. The Staple Pool is where all the items will stay for the duration of the game. In the same way, non-staple equipment is transferred to the Seed Pool when it is purchased from the Blueprint Desk.

Recycled Items

The magic happens with the third "R," recycling. When you recycle a product that is made from recycled materials, you are not only creating a better environment, but you are also giving the item a new life. This is because most items that are recycled go back to the manufacturer of the original to be remanufactured into a new product. This is referred to as "closing of the recycling loop."

When someone puts something in their recycling bins at the curb, it is taken to a Materials Recovery Facility where it is separated and sorting. Then, it can be transferred to manufacturers who will then re-make the item. Remade products include:

This process helps reduce the need to grow harvest, extract or extract raw materials from the Earth to create something new. Leveling

Most units can be upgraded, which gives them extra XP each time they fight or are attacked. This XP can be used to unlock upgrades, or increase the stats of the unit. Weapons are a great example, as they can improve their level and increase their damage as well as range.
