Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components

An upgrade item upgrades is a unique item that will make certain Pokemon develop. The upgrade can be obtained by spinning a photo disc. It's sometimes given as a prize in Pokemon GO events.

Upgrade components

Infusions can be used on legendary and non-amulet items, while enhancements can be utilized on certain ascended back equipment. Slotting in an upgrade component will cause the destruction of the previous upgrade. There are exceptions for glyphs (which can only be inserted into gathering tools) and enchantments, which are able to be removed and reinserted freely.

Insignias, enchantments, and prefix/suffix upgrades will be displayed in the hover display of the Item Upgrader mod, while they will be added to the equipment's name (e.g. a Radiant Insignia would change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The tooltip of an item will display the number of upgrades that have been added to it.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to add decorative and useful elements to an OpenType font. They include ligatures, fractions, or ornaments as well as registered trademark symbols, ellipses and swashes as well as swashes. The Glyphs panel lets you look up and insert these unique characters along with normal glyphs, such as em dashes and en dashes, registered trademark symbols and glyphs that do not appear in other fonts (such as dingbats).

Once a Glyph has reached level 15 it can be upgraded via the Glyph Upgrade Altar. The Paragon Board's radius increases by one node every 15 levels at which a Glyph is upgraded.

Once a glyph has been upgraded to its desired level you can activate it by selecting it, then clicking the "enchant" button. The Glyph you create will provide its stated benefit, and boost all other nodes in its radius on the Paragon Board. Glyphs should go in areas that will benefit your build the most. This is why you should prioritize Magic Glyphs as soon as possible. Rare glyphs could also provide double bonuses if certain conditions can be satisfied.

If you're having trouble finding a particular glyph, click the cycle widget on the Glyphs panel to show the panel in a variety of different views. Each view will display the Glyphs using a different font. You can narrow the selection of glyphs further using an option below "Entire Font": for example, punctuation displays only punctuation glyphs, while Math Symbols reduces the choices to mathematical symbols.

Rerolling

Rerolling is the process of creating an account with a brand new username in order to increase your chances of getting the character or weapon you'd like.
