Seats

It can be used to accommodate twins as young as birth and accommodate two car seats or an infant carrycot and seat. However, the seats need to be oriented forward and there's no space for a shopping bag underneath and you'll need a sidepack to do that.

If you like to take off-road trips and off-road, the Mountain Buggy Duet is a good option. It's a side-by-side with the slimmest footprint of any double buggy available on the market. This makes it easier to pass through doors with narrow openings and on public transport, and allows you to climb up and down kerbs without much trouble. Alternately, the phil&teds dots is a brilliant single buggy from day 1 that is able to easily be adapted to take 2 (or 3!) Different configurations are possible. This is especially useful for parents with children in a car seat, since the frame can be equipped with a wedgie to allow for optimal lie-flat positioning, or car seat adapters to various brands.

Suspension

The quality of the suspension on a 3 wheel compact stroller wheel double buggy is vital to how it will be easy for you and your child to push. A smooth ride is essential because babies feel every bump on the road, especially if it's in rough terrain such as grass or unpaved paths.
