It's heavy, so it takes two people to snap the carrier in the base, and then remove it.

In our tests it took us around 5 minutes to put the UPPAbaby Cruz v2 together. This is quite rapid when you consider the amount of time it can save by not having to remove each piece. The majority of these models have an easy method of attaching and detaching the toddler seat, as well.
