The Roomba combo is a powerful mop, but it is lacking some of the more advanced features that make Roomba J7+ an exceptional sweeper. When it detects wet surface it switches from mopping mode to sweeping mode. A small robot arm raises a little water tank/dustbin combo, and a new pad is inserted into the cleaner when you hit the button.

Its navigation was on par with the top iRobot robots that I've tested, and it made good progress even when the path wasn't entirely clear. It's not the best in avoiding obstacles, but it's easy to spot and avoid larger objects such as socks and toys.

The app allows you to modify your schedule. You can design a specific cleaning path and create Keep Out Zones (or Clean Zones) that will direct the robot in the proper direction. It also shows an overview of its actions and its health status. It is also possible to pair it with Alexa, Siri or Google Assistant enabled devices to provide voice control. The smart platform of iRobot Roomba 675: Smart Vacuum with Alexa automatically updates the Combo's software and adds new features and capabilities in real-time.
